Mr. Peter Goodwin Jr., CPA, Director, President and CEO
Peter was President of the Industrial Minerals
group of Zemex Corporation, a world leader in the production
of feldspar, mica and clays. He is a business executive with 25 years
of experience in the mineral business. Peter has been instrumental in
restructuring the affairs of Normiska and is
primarily responsible for the acquisition of The Schundler
Company in New Jersey. Peter's mandate is to improve
the operations of Normiska and to seek out and complete
acquisitions. Peter is a graduate of Mount St. Mary's
College and is an inactive CPA.
Mr. John Dentzer, CFO
John has served as a senior financial
executive in the industrial minerals business for over
30 years. Prior to joining Normiska in November
2005, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief
Legal Officer of Zemex Industrial Minerals, Inc., a U.S.
subsidiary of Zemex Corporation, a Toronto Stock
Exchange Company. During the prior 23 years, he
was Chief Financial Officer of a $500 million group of
businesses and additionally, for the last 6 years,
served as corporate legal counsel. John worked for
5 years for a major international public accounting firm
doing audits and tax work. In addition to being
professionally licensed in the United States as an
attorney and Certified Public Accountant, he earned an
MBA degree from the University of Chicago.
Fred St. Louis, Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer
Fred joined Normiska in August, 2001. His many years experience in the agricultural commodities business and multi divisional operations is a great asset to the
Company. Fred has been in senior level management
operating positions for the last 25 years and attended
Loyola College for his Bachelor of Commerce program.
Michael Spino, Production Manager, Montreal.
Robert Donaldson, Manager of Operations, Fort Frances.
Rob joined Normiska in 2001 after completing a B.Sc. in Environmental Biology. He has a number of years of experience in various environmental fields as well as surveying qualifications.
Todd Boughner, Area Sales Manager
Todd joined Normiska in 2003. He is a graduate of St.
Clair College in Windsor, Ontario where he earned both a 2
year diploma in Business Marketing and a 3 year diploma in
Business Administration Marketing. He also has an Arts
& Science diploma from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
In addition to Normiska's management team, the company has the following independent directors to assist in
the formulation of policies and plans.
John Arnold, Director.
John is a graduate of the University of Toronto and is a
Chartered Accountant by training. He has over thirty
years of varied experience in the natural resource sector
and in manufacturing and wood treating fields. John
is a director and officer for a number of private and public companies. He is co-founder of Normiska Peat
Inc. and was Chairman and CFO of Normiska Corporation from
its inception in 1997 until November 2005.
Jack Barta, Director.
James R. Barta, Director.
Jim is President of SAV-RX Prescription Services located in Fremont Nebraska and brings a wealth of experience to our Board especially in the area of value-added production and mass distribution. Jim was elected to our Board at the last Annual Meeting.
William E. Bateman,
Chairman.
Mr. Bateman is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, practicing as a Barrister and Solicitor in Toronto. He has been in practice for over 25 years, primarily engaged in security matters. He sits on a number of public companies listed on the T.S.E. and the CDNX.
Clare Brunetta, Director.
Mr. Brunetta is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, practicing as a Barrister and Solicitor in Fort Frances, Ontario. He has been in practice since 1981 and concentrates in the areas of corporate and commercial law. He is a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court and services as Chairman of the Riverside Foundation for Health Care and is a Governor of St. Johns Ravenscourt School in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
David Graham, Director.
Mr. Graham is a natural resource executive who
received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of
Waterloo. He has over twenty-five years of field and
corporate experience in a wide range of natural resources
such as base and precious metals, industrial minerals and
materials. He is one of the founders of Normiska
Corporation. David is also co-founder of Normiska Peat
Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Normiska Corporation and
was Chief Executive Officer of Normiska from its inception
in 1997 until October 2004.
