Normiska Corporation Completes Preliminary Assessment Of The Muskeg Bog - Results Are Positive

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO -- Normiska Corporation (CDNX - NCO) is pleased to announce the completion of a preliminary survey to determine the viability of developing it's 3,600 acre Muskeg Bog property located in the district of Thunder Bay. The results of this survey show that a sufficient amount of horticultural quality sphagnum peat moss is present to warrant a detailed follow up survey and feasibility study. The company is currently planning this program to be performed in the coming summer.

Normiska's core business is the production and manufacturing of horticultural materials for sale to North American horticultural markets. Normiska operates production facilities in Lachine, Quebec and Fort Frances, Ontario. These operations supply markets in the continental northeast and the U.S. Mid-West, respectively.

Normiska is a rapidly developing company that has identified high growth opportunities in the horticultural sector. Normiska's high quality products are used in landscaping, golf course construction, nurseries and greenhouses.

The Company has granted to a director stock options to purchase up to 25,000 common shares of the Company at an exercise price of $0.90.

Normiska has 6,352,202 common shares issued and outstanding.
