Survey On Thunder Bay Peat Bog Under Way
Toronto, Ontario (September 11, 2000) - Normiska Corporation (CDN: NORP) today announced that preliminary engineering and surveying of its 3600-acre peat property located in Thunder Bay, Ontario has commenced. Early indications are that the bog contains high quality sphagnum peat. Should the bog go into production, start up costs are expected to be minimal.
"The Thunder Bay peat bog is one of our assets close to the production stage, and we are very optimistic about its potential contribution to the bottom line," said David Graham, President and CEO. "Over the next few years, we intend to aggressively grow profitable sales both organically and through acquisition opportunities."
Normiska has filed an application for listing on the Canadian Venture Exchange.
